Driving away Monday blues, a late rise to start the week.

On leave for a day, yet I scoot to the busy bus-stop to collect my forgotten umbrella safely kept by Bapu kaka our conductor.

To avert the honks and the bumper to bumper traffic I take an unauthorized path.

The rains gods then lighten up my moods by showering an affectionate drizzle.

The tender drops lash out on my face and the nimble Nimkar in me manoeuvre's the two- wheeler to untrodden alleys of Thane.

The washed streets and the prevailing tone of this lake city brought in the rejuvenation.

I drove across the serenity of the Upvan lake with a pause at the foothills of Yeor.

The subtle poetry and melody of Sandeep Khare and Salil Kulkarni through the earphones made me oblivious to the time and reality impending agenda for the day.

Criss-crossing the splashes,  potholes I traversed through Vasant Vihar, Hiranandani Meadows and then I have no clue where I took the two wheels through unoccupied roads.

Until I reached a dead end which brought me into state of realization to take back the trodden path.Halt for a tapri chai sufficed my craving.

Again crossing the lake I mellowed for a visit to the Upvan Ganapati temple. Stared in tranquility to the studded idol for a few moments of time.

Then it was a reality bite to get back to the grind. The writing of report draft 2 doesn't really seem to be inviting. So here I am back home blogging in a state of perfect bliss.( when I am supposed to be mulling over  water issues of cold-drink industries)

Well, as SK hums ..."atashaa ase hey maala kaay hote.........naa andaaz kuthle naa avadhan kaahi, kuthe jaayche yaayche bhaan nahin, jasa gandh nighato havechyaa pravasaat, naa kuthle nakashe naa anumaan kaahi...."

Good day !!!

Smiles,

Prachi.
